Zoneguard Grade 3 Zone Omit EN50131-3:2009 Env. Class II

The Zoneguard ZG800 is a Grade 3 EN50131 zone omit unit that facilitates the secure and safe omission and reinstatement of detection zones in intruder alarm systems, without triggering false alarms. It operates between intruder detection devices and the control panel.

Key Features:
Grade 3 Compatibility - Specifically designed for use with Grade 3 passive infrared detection devices, which must include independent anti-masking and tamper detection.
Uninterrupted Monitoring - The Zoneguard allows 'end of line' resistors for each detection condition to pass through directly to the control panel, this ensures uninterrupted monitoring. The panel can monitor these resistors directly.
Alarm Resistor Flexibility - Zoneguard supports alarm resistors 1kΩ or higher.

Modes of Operation:

• In its simplest form, Zoneguard uses an integrated keyswitch to omit or reinstate up to two detection zones.
• Additional modes are available via the keypad or external devices (e.g., biometric readers, or a combination of keyswitch and keypad), useful when dual responsibility is required.
• Two timed entry/exit modes are also provided.

General Rules for Zone Operation:

• Zones will always be omitted through an omit function.
• If a zone detects an event during reinstatement, it must be returned to the omitted state, the detection condition cleared, and then reinstated.
