DaDo Panic Strip Ref: RP/DADO

DaDo Panic Strip is a switch strip en-cased in a high-durability housing for use as a panic or affray alarm. Ideal where people may need to signal for help or assistance, it can be operated along its entire length.
The DaDo Panic Strip comprises of four main components, the switch strip, tamper-resistant top cover, aluminum mounting rail and a choice of end-caps.

Switch Options

High Profile - used in the majority of DaDo installations

Low Profile - used for pre-meditated activation in low risk installations

End-cap Options

Black or white end-cap kits for standard installations. Each Dado Strip is supplied with 2 x Trunking end-caps designed to fit 25 x 15mm trunking for installations where cables are run externally and 2 x Closed end-caps for installations where cables have been embedded

LED Illuminated end-caps when used with a suitable control panel will show that assistance is on its way. Please note that when LED end caps are specified, a kit is provided to illuminate one end of the Dado only, both end caps are white in colour

Flexible corners allow the DaDo Panic Strip to flow around internal and external corners without a break.

Redimon Monitor v2 Ref: REDIMON/2

A 12 volt dc powered latching monitor unit which fully monitors two lengths of our Panic / Affray strip to give independent alarm and fault conditions via separate SPCO relay contacts. An End Of Line EOL resistor (6k8) is fitted at the remote end of the Panic strip. Pressing the Panic strip creates a short circuit which is detected as an alarm condition. If the Panic strip becomes disconnected in any way a fault condition is generated.

This latest version of Redimon also includes the ability to require the Panic strip to be pressed twice within a 5 second period to generate an alarm condition.

Redipress Panic Strip Ref: RP/STND

Redipress Panic Strip is a normally-open flexible momentary switch for applications where press-at-any-point signaling is needed, such as panic or affray alarms. The long continuous switch is supplied with an aluminum mounting channel and is available in high or low profiles for optional sensitivities, high profile is used in high risk applications such as bank and post offices and low profile is used for pre-meditated activation where inadvertent activation is to be avoided. End-caps are optionally available but recomended. The Redipress switch is factory-terminated and RF-welded to create an airtight seal. It is a low-voltage component and should not be used with mains voltage.

This is a convenient and economical way to finish a length of REDIPRESS. A cable outlet is provided and there is sufficient space within the end cap to cater for soldered or small crimped joints when connecting to the alarm circuit or when continuing round a corner to a further length.

REDIGUARD delayed action personal attack button. This unit is powered by 12 vdc and is fitted with two buttons. Button 1 starts an adjustable run down timer, Button O stops the timer and resets the unit. If the timer is not reset within the pre-determined time then a voltage free contact operates to trigger any conventional alarm or communicator. The timer is adjustable between 20 seconds and 2 minutes
