AIDALARM Disabled toilet alarm mains powered Ref: A600M

The A600M is a mains (230/240VAC) or 12vdc powered disabled toilet alarm. This unit require either an S1600 ceiling mounted pull cord or an S1605 wall mounted call button. An optional S1608 reset button can also be fitted to enable the system to be reset at or near the point of calling. It is also possible to fit a remote indicator with a mute button (S1679)

When powered by 230/240vac mains the addition of a rechargeable standby should be considered. This is available as a separate item (BAT12V800LA)
The A600M is also fitted with a volt free relay output for connection to a MULTIGUARD indicator (egMG212100) or a buliding management system.
A self adhesive disabled toilet sign is provided with all AIDALARMS.

The A600B is a battery powered disabled toilet alarm. It use 6 x AA longlife AA batteries. This unit require either an S1600 ceiling mounted pull cord or an S1605 wall mounted call button. An optional S1608 reset button can also be fitted to enable the system to be reset at or near the point of calling.

The A600B is ideal for installation by any competent handyman. In addition to meeting the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 the A600B does not cause any installation conflicts with the new Part P Building Regulations that came into force on 1st January 2005. Being powered by batteries there are no inspection requirements vis-à-vis electrical equipment in areas where water may be present.
A self adhesive disabled toilet sign is provided with all AIDALARMS.

Flush mount AIDALARM with stainless steel facia and galvanised steel mounting box.
Integral jumbo LED and piezo sounder for local audible and visual warning. The power ON LED incorporates a silence pushbutton.

Can be powered from either 12vdc or 230vac. Requires either an S1600 Pull Cord or S1605S Call button plus a S1608S Reset button.

Non-latching ceiling pull cord with re-assurance LED for use directly with AIDLARMs above.
This unit has voltage free SPCO contacts. The LED incorporates a current limit resistor for use on 12vdc.
Has an anti - ligature facility, with a breaking weight of 46 pounds and is 2.5metres long. However, it is considered against best practise to install a pull cord into a mental health unit due to the risk it poses. Call buttons in the toilet or Panic strip is recommended.
